One reason that I love this style of mini macrame is that the finished pieces look almost like beadwork. I have often had people do a double take at this talisman bag. They think its beautiful when they think its "just" beads; they're fascinated and amazed when they realize each "bead" is actually a double half hitch. The use of cotton embriodery floss helps the illusion since it gives the knots a bit of a sheen. The bag is backed in blue leather and almost big enough to fit a credit card.
