After the redesign: Now, the beautiful 10mm lapis beads are highlighted with gold-filled beads that are strong enough to stand up to the weight of the stone beads. At the ends of the new two-strand necklace, graduated gold-filled beads taper to the new vermeil (sterling silver heavily plated in 22kt gold) clasp. The new clasp has the added benefit of of an easy-open hook. At 21" this length is much easier to wear than the old, longer length.
